What does that mean? Well, get ready for steak fajitas, chili con carne, puffy tacos, enchiladas, and…nachos! The food is decent, though.Are you in the mood for some really good and juicy burritos? What about finger-licking chicken wings? Some churro bites for dessert? If that’s the case and you just want a little bit of everything, the way to go is Tex-Mex! Tex-Mex cuisine is a perfect blend of American and Texas food, derived from the culinary creations of the Tejano people of Texas. Our visit was just so unexpected and I hope that this isn’t typical these days at this location. Normally I would reccomed this place to anyone, and I still would, but maybe with hesitation now. We also purchased some hot sauces, and our order totaled about $30, but we were not offered a receipt, and I was unable to contact anyone about this visit. This isn’t usually a big deal to us, but we had already waited 20 minutes and we had to wait longer while my kid was losing her mind. We confirmed what we wanted twice, and ended up waiting 20 minutes for our food (although we were the ONLY people in the restaurant?) When our plates arrived, both orders were incorrect despite confirming what we wanted. He was a nice person who did his job well, it was just very uncomfortable being served by someone who is sick.
If Chipotle has taught us anything, it’s to allow sick workers to stay home. Usually I would refuse to be served by a sick person but I didn’t realize he was working the register AND bringing plates and serving drinks. with some type of virus and couldn’t speak. The gentleman who took our order and served our food was clearly ill. I can typically expect decent food and service, so I’m not sure what went wrong on this visit. We’ve been to many of these locations all over Florida for many, many years.
